Extended Support Ends: April 11th, 2017

As we all know, Microsoft is ending all support for Windows Vista very soon. Now, as a software publisher, we serve our customers for latest and newest versions of Windows to the aging versions of Windows. We no longer see any reason anymore to officially support Windows Vista, we see that Windows Vista is now has reached almost 1% worldwide usage and that Microsoft is indeed ending support for Windows Vista. We’ve been eagerly getting ready to release our last RC (Release Candidate) build to ACT Baseboard Beta program!

The team has been working hard lately to present this build and release upon you!

We fixed countless bugs, such as the broken listings in Help Center and Dashboard. We want you all to tell us and report any bugs by reporting in the comment section below.

An End of an Era: Guest Destination is discontinued

We are sad to announce today that Guest Destination will cease support today. We felt that development was not moving in the direction that we wanted. It was painful and happy 3 years (more happiness, though). We must thank all the users and people who were subscribed to the service. All support portals, including call-in support, email, web help will also be discontinued.

We released today the final and last update for Guest Destination (Dynamic Update 4), we updated APIs with ACT Baseboard 2.2 (give a last hurrah), new shutdown sequence (smoother shutdown), and a bunch of other fixes to make it somewhat usable for now… (Hopefully no bugs left… There probably is…)

Guest Destination will continue to work normally after support ends today, but you won’t receive any new updates. (If you find a bug, too bad… 😦 )

If you still have an active subscription, your subscription was automatically canceled, you will not be charged. If you were charged, contact support to get your refund.

ACT Product Update (for Guest Destination) will be inactive, we will remove the service completely (for Guest Destination) in 2018.
